As someone who discovered professional wrestling at a young age in the 1980's, watching my Grandma

cheer on Rowdy Roddy Piper, I absolutely fell in love with it.  In the days before the internet, I found myself

scouring the supermarkets and department stores for the latest issues of Pro Wrestling Illustrated, the

WWF magazine, WCW magazine, The Wrestler, Inside Wrestling, and many, many more.  I loved the WWF,

but when I discovered WCW in November of 1991, that was when my real passion began.  I wanted to learn

everything I could about it.  I wanted to know the history of the sport, I wanted to learn about international

wrestlers from Japan and Mexico.  I ordered my first pay-per-view, WCW's SuperBrawl II on leap year in

1992, and from then on out, I would beg my mother to let me order the shows every time they came on.

Sometimes she would let me, sometimes we couldn't afford it, but even when we couldn't afford it, I turned

the TV to the "scramble channel" and listened to the likes of Jim Ross and Tony Schiavone calling the

matches that I couldn't quite see.

I created this website not to show that I love one promotion more than any other, but because I want to

believe there are kids out there somewhere like me who would like to learn as much as they can about it.

With that being said, you won't find spoilers on this site.  You won't find dramatic backstage stories.

That's not what made me fall in love with professional wrestling.  It's the action, the show, and the

characters.  If there are any kids out there just falling in love with pro wrestling, this site is for you.
